Travel to historic Gettysburg, Philadephia  and Lancaster in Pennsylvania. Your tour group will be thrilled with all of the history that lives here, as they hear the fascinating stories told by 'Robert E Lee' and 'Abraham Lincoln".  See the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia and relive the events that took place in this historic city.   Adult groups and student groups alike will all enjoy themselves on this educational and fun-filled tour.  Attractions can include: Gettysburg National Visitor's Center, Guided tour through the Battlefield, Independance Hall, The Constituition Museum,  Tour of Kreider Farms, Sight & Sound Theatre performance, Kitchen Kettle Village and Flight 93 Memorial. 

GROUP TOUR ITINERARY:


Day One:

Arriveat your AAA rated 3 Diamond Gettysburg hotel.

Dinner can be included tonight in a historic restaurant nearby, your group will "meet" Abraham Lincoln for a chat,  after dinner at the restaurant.

Day Two:

Breakfast included at the hotel

Meet Mrs. Shriverat her home, The Shriver House Museumand hear the story of how the local citizens were affected by the battle of Gettysburg.

Meet you local guideat the center for a two hour Gettysburg Battlefield driving tour. Included is a stop at Pickett's Charge, where you'll "meet" Robert E Lee and Mrs Lee, who will give you an insight as to how he made his battlefield plans.

Lunch on own at theVisitor's Center.   Then experience the film, cycloramas and museum at the Center.

Depart from the Visitor Center on the timed ticketed shuttle busto the Eisenhower National Historic Site.  This is the only way to get to the site.   Shuttles depart every half hour.

Your  visit to the site begins with a 15 minute orientation tour of the grounds and farm operation highlighting how the farm was used by Eisenhower during his presidency.  Then tour the home, which  offers an intimate glimpse of the Eisenhowers' life and times.

Check into your host hotel for the next 3 nights in Lancaster. 

Dinner includedat a Country Club overlooking the 18th green. 

Day Three

Included breakfast.   Depart for Philadelphia.   

Arrive for a morning at Independence Park. Begin with an included ticket to the National Constitution Center. TheNational Constitution Center in historic Philadelphia is America's most interactive history museum. Located just two blocks from theLiberty Bell and Independence Hall,it is the only museum devoted to the U.S. Constitution and the story of "We, the People".  

A timed entrance ticket for a tour of Independence Hall. The building was completed in 1753 as the colonial legislature.

Meet your local guide  and enjoy an afternoon of touring Philadelphia.See the Betsy Ross Home, City Hall, the Museum of Art with the "Rocky Steps", and much more

Back at your Lancaster hotel, enjoy dinner on your own.

Day Four

Breakfast included

Tour  Kreider Farms. Enjoy a tour of a real working farm supplying fresh quality eggs, milk, drinks and premium batch churned ice cream to select wholesalers and retail stores throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. This 90-minute dairy farm tour offers a high-tech view of farming including a drive your coach down the middle of the Titanic-sized loafing barn, otherwise known as the cow palace, and a bird's eye view of the milking merry-go-round.

A shopping stop at the Kitchen Kettle Village, with 42 intriguing stores.  Have lunch here on own. 

Arrive at The National Christmas Center.  Experience a journey like no other through a 20,000 square foot museum (lots of seating throughout and only one floor, no stairs) of Christmas history and traditions that is so much more than you expect!   The name says it all - this unique museum is all about Christmas - all year long!


Or

Choose to visit the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania, followed by a 45 minute ride on the Strasburg Railroad.    Climb aboard the larger-than-life steam train for a 45-minute ride through the tranquil Amish countryside to Paradise, PA and back.

Depart for dinner  with your local tour guide.  Enjoy an evening with the Amish and a local tour guide.    Prepare for a unique and truly memorable experience as you are welcomed into a real Amish home, as their guests for an authentic Amish meal.  Enjoy their kind and gracious hospitality as the family serves you a delicious Penn Dutch feast.  

Day Five

Stop to visit  Flight 93 National Memorial in Stoystown PA  before heading home.
