Willkommen to Frankenmuth!  Your group will experience a warm welcome when they arrive in Michigan's Little Bavaria.  In this pretty German town, all groups, young and old alike, will find that Frankenmuth is the perfect destination to recharge, renew and refresh.
From fanstastic food, eclectic shopping and fun entertainment, to rich historical beauty and culture, it is the ideal departure from the ordinary every day.  Guten Tag!

GROUP TOUR ITINERARY:



Your  3 day/ 2 night Group Tour to Frankenmuth can include:

A lunch stop in Holly Michigan, wonderfully decorated for the holidays!  This hotel is on the list of the National Register of Historic Places of the United States and is among an elite group of properties that has had continual food service in three centuries.

The Queen Anne Luncheon features your entrée along with scones, sweets / desserts and tea.    Everyone gets a beautiful tea cup to take home.

Then in  Frankenmuth  begin with a Brewery tour.   This fascinating tour features the history of the brewery and the entire brewing and bottling process at the Brewery.  Samples included.

 

Check into your  Frankenmuth hotel for your two night stay.  

Dinner included tonight is Frankenmuth's World Famous Chicken with all the fixings.

 

Drive  along Christmas Lane and view the light displays at Bronner's Christmas Wonderland.   

Visit the Silent Night Chapel here.   On the chapel grounds are plaques with the hymn 'Silent Night' written in over 300 languages, located along a tranquil walkway.  The chapel features a walk through area where visitors can see the chancel, an altar, Nativity scene, an Austrian wreath, and information about the hymn and composers.   Before you depart, let  your escort lead you in the first course of Silent Night, brochures in the chapel have the words to the song printed on them.    The acoustics are great here and your group will sound very good singing the hymn!   Your experience hear will be very uplifting and joyful!

Tour  a Wool Company and learn the procedures of wool processing for bedding products as well as yarn making. Turn of the century machines transforms the raw fibres into materials of beauty and comfort. 

Next, be transformed into a German Baker, as you put on your hats and try your hand at pretzel rolling.  Santa Claus will meet your group here and roll pretzels with you!    First you will see the expert demonstrate the proper technique, then it is your turn to try. 

 Enjoy some free time for shopping and lunch on your own in the lovely downtown.

See  and hear the Glockenspeil play the Pied Piper in front of the Bavarian Inn. The sound of a 35-bell Glockenspiel echoes for miles around the town of Frankenmuth with lively German and American tunes and hymns. The sound originates from a 50-foot bell tower where installation of specially cast carillon bells and figure work for the Pied Piper of Hameln was completed in October, 1967.     Beneath the bells is a large stage where carved wooden figures moving on tracks act out the legend of the Pied Piper of Hameln.

Meet your step on guide for an historical tour of this quaint Bavarian Village, including a guided tour of  the St. Lorenz Lutheran Church.     The beautiful stained glass windows tell the story of the beginnings of Frankenmuth.  The site includes a replica of the original log cabin church that was built here in 1845.

Holiday Dinner Show  included tonight (subject to available dates)  with a family of musicians who  have been entertaining audiences for over 25 years throughout North America.  An outstanding variety show including Christmas tunes.

 

 

In Novi, arrive at  Genitti's for their famous 7 course family style lunch including Italian wedding soup, garlic bread, pasta, antipasto salad, baked chicken with zucchini, Italian sausage with peppers and onions, Italian steak with potatoes, Cannoli and beverages. 

After lunch, it's into the theatre for an interactive comedy show that spoofs a Holiday Office Party!   Your guests will love it!! 

 

Afterwards, depart for home.
